| DKP LAUNCHES COGMUSIC -
New York, New York,
January 5, 2002
UPPER WEST SIDE -
This week DKP completed the initial set-up and launch of Cogmusic
(a music production and publishing company ) and its online presence
www.cogmusic.com. DKP played in integral role in the logo, album
packaging, web-design, and budgetary planning for this "music
for film" company. Cogmusic's first release is "Lockwood"
- named after the main creative force behind Cogmusic. The album
Lockwood draws on its originator's successful experiences working
with producer / engineer Ian Brodie, EMI producer Howard Gray.

Lockwood also performed sold out shows
at places like the Marquee in London and club 88 in LA with his
own bands - Lockwood's latest project is a combination of seven
songs comprised of electronic and acoustic music. What makes the
tracks unique, in addition to the rich diversity of sounds, is the
way in which the music lends itself to evoking strong visual images.
The opening track "Words of Love" and transitioning into
the George C. Scott inspired song "Meat Parade", Lockwood's
solo album is a mix of eclectic themes and sonic textures. The fifth
track on the album "Devil in the Angel" is a goblin evoking
kind of song. The album is then rounded out with "One of A
Kind"... which pretty much sums up the body of Lockwood's work.
Later in the year 2002, Cogmusic plans to release an enhanced CD
with more visuals and a bonus sound-effects CD. Cogmusic has already
begun work on its second release as well.
